T-510MS Trim Saw

• This cable trim saw is an upgrade of the original T-510M trim saw. The newer design allows trimming of short cable legs, which are common in many cable assemblies. All the longer length cables are still cut by this saw as well. As before, the cable can be trimmed in preparation for connector installation. They produce an extremely clean cut with minimum smear. The length and depth of the cut are set by micrometers on the rear and right side of the unit.
  
  

OPERATION OF THE UNIT:

Coax is placed into the guide hole just under the plastic saw guide. The ball bearing slide is operated with the left hand while revolving the coax with the right hand. The slide will automatically return when released and the coax may be withdrawn. The trimmed piece is removed by a sharp rotation to break the remaining teflon web. (.002 - .003 inch)
